Tantrum Spinnerbaits for Spring!

Early Season is a pretty simple time to catch fish
for most avid bass anglers, the bass are hungry
and getting ready to spawn. The areas to look for
fish are relatively easy to locate and target. Once
the fish are in the areas, what to throw at them
becomes the next challenge. Many will throw
simple baits like a spinnerbait, yet after throwing
a Tantrum Siren you will see, there is no comparison
to this bait.







The Tantrum Siren is the brainchild of Tony Gunderson
a BASS angler and lure designer. It’s unique head
construction and extra long hook shank make it a
true running precision bait that is killer on smallmouth
bass. The staff here has tested this bait over the last
year or so in varying situations and have not found
a better spinnerbait to directly go for smallmouth
bass.

APPROACH: The thin profile and almost flat heat design
make it very easy on the wrists and forarm when
casting for extended periods of time in tournament
situations. You can throw to a rip rap or laydown
area and bring the bait back in cadence, stop it.....
And the bait immediately stops and flutters straight
down, rip the rod and it it glides back up to original
form and continues in the water column. We’ve had fish
on the fall and on simple retrieve. There are a range of
colors but we find the whites and white/charteuse baits
to be most effective. I believe this bait rivals any mass
